Weekend Recap #4

hello hello and happy february 1st! it's monday morning, which means it's time for a little weekend recap. let's get to it.

our weekend was another busy one and i failed at taking photos for most of it.

friday night started off with a little night out for me! after the past couple of weeks you'd think i spend no time with my little family, but i promise this isn't the norm! i met up with one of my favorite people in the whole wide world, ms. katie g. while she was in town visiting from north carolina. we had drinks at two local bars (Volstead Act and Baby Bar), lots and lots of good conversation, and some delicious nachos from Neato Burrito! i was also out way past my bedtime and didn't make it home till almost 3 am!

saturday, we dropped our little guy off at nana and pop pop's while kevin and i headed out to test drive a few new (to us) cars. we have been down to one car for almost two years now, and while it was really no big deal while husband was in new york, it has become very difficult now that he's back. needless to say we are in the market for a new vehicle and hope to be purchasing one this week!

sunday was our little man's half birthday! he's 18 months old and growing like a weed. he's decided that 5:30 am is the new 7:00 am so we've been waking up extra early these days. we gave him a little half birthday cupcake sunday morning and his little face lit right up! i wrote more about the past 18 months here!

sunday afternoon we had a little get together with some friends along with wine, champagne and an epic build your own salad bar. it was delicious! the conversation (again) was great and we ended our weekend with full tummies and full hearts. weekends with friends are the best!
