2019 Annual Girls Trip

Another year, another girls trip in the books! This year we headed over to Lake Chelan for a weekend of relaxing, wine tasting and catching up. All of us have known each other since high school and a few of us go all the way back to kindergarten! I hope we continue these girls trips long into our future. Good times were had by all.

A School Fieldtrip

I finally got to attend one of Lincoln's school field trips! You guys, I have dreamt of this day. I have always wanted to be the mom that got to stay home, volunteer in the classroom and attend all the things for their kiddo. I 100% admit that when it comes to this whole "mom thing" I can be a bit extra. So, when I finally was able to make it work where I got to attend a school outing, I jumped at the chance. Even better, the trip was up to the pumpkin patch! And you all know how much I love myself a good pumpkin patch.

The kids were taken through a fun little puppet show where they learned about the various things grown on a farm, shown how apples are pressed into cider and then got to pick apples and pumpkins to take home. Here are a few photos from the field trip!

2019 Pumpkin Patchin'

It's the most wonderful time of the year! You'll hear me say this over and over and over again from now until January 2nd, haha. Once again we made the trek up to Greenbluff to hit up the pumpkin patch, score the coveted pumpkin and huckleberry donuts and get that insta photo ;0).

Every year is more fun than the last, especially now that Finn is starting to grasp the fun of the holidays! I love both Lincoln and Finn's ages so much right now. Lincoln is finally old enough to really "get" the holidays and everything is so new and exciting for Finn. A few photos from our trip!

Jurassic Quest

This past weekend, Jurassic Quest came to Spokane. We met up with some friends to go check out the dinosaurs. While Lincoln loved it, I have to be honest, it was a little lame. The rides weren't super exciting and while the dinosaurs themselves looked really real, there wasn't much to it other than to look at them.

For the price, I don't think we'll go again (unless of course someone offers up free tickets, haha!), but it was a good experience to get out of the way. A few blurry photos from our day.
