Quarantine Life

I mentioned in my last post, that COVID-19, a global pandemic hit the US and Washington State back in February. By mid-March Washington, and many other states, had issued Stay-at-Home orders in an attempt to slow down the spread of the virus while a vaccine is researched. They are comparing this pandemic to the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918 that killed almost 50 million people worldwide.

It's now May 4th and the Stay-at-Home order in Washington has been extended through May 31st with a 4 stage plan to slowly re-open the economy. Each phase is expected to last a minimum of 3 weeks which means we won't fully be back to "normal" until likely mid-July. We've done our best to keep boredom at bay and here's post 1 of a major photo dump!

Our days have consisted of lots of outdoor time, crafts, indoor forts, kids yoga, baking, pre-school zoom calls and zoom happy hours. With kids at home, working from home and all of us confined to 2,000 SF, there's also been lots of tears, tantrums, cuddles and quality time.
